Chelsea face having to pay £87m to sign Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
That is according to a report from Calciomercato.
It claims that the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid are following Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis wants at least €100m (£87m) for the 22-year-old.
However, with his contract not expiring until 2027, Napoli are not under pressure to sell him in January or next summer.
It means Chelsea may have to wait until 2025 to sign Kvaratskhelia.

Chelsea and Real Madrid following Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
It is not a surprise to see Calciomercato report that Chelsea and Real Madrid both have Kvaratskhelia on their radar. The Georgian was one of the best attackers in Europe last season.
In 34 Serie A appearances, he scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists to help Napoli win their first league title in 33 years.
Kvaratskhelia also impressed in gli Azzurri’s Champions League campaign. He was involved in six goals in nine outings and, according to WhoScored, completed 3.9 dribbles per game. The next highest average in Luciano Spalletti’s squad was 1.8. The attacker was simply on another level.
At 22, you would expect Kvaratskhelia to become an even better player in the future. But looking at the above, it is clear that he is quite capable of making a huge impact right now.
If there is a chance to sign him, whether it is next summer or the one after that, Chelsea have to consider it.
For now, though, Mauricio Pochettino will have to rely on the likes of Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer, who have actually not let him down this season, to be fair.
The two England players have been excellent for the Argentine, both getting on the scoresheet in Chelsea’s last outing, an incredible 4-4 draw with Manchester City.
