Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea will go all the way to the finish line in the race for Mykhailo Mudryk.
Typing on Twitter, Romano explained that Todd Boehly ‘will try until the end’ to sign the Shakhtar Donetsk attacker.
Boehly or members of his team have already apparently met with Shakhtar to discuss a deal for the young Ukraine international.
The Stamford Bridge owner is attempting to derail Arsenal’s pursuit of Mudryk, a player who’s been on their radar for some time.

Both of the capital city clubs are seemingly locked in to a battle for the 22-year-old’s expensive signature.
Shakhtar are reportedly asking for £85m to let go of their prized possession.
Whilst neither Chelsea or Arsenal have yet to meet the demands of the Ukrainian side, both might be more inclined as the closer the January window gets to closing.
Right now, it is said the Mudryk is favouring a move to North London rather than the South West.
This is little surprise, considering where the two rivals are currently stationed in the Premier League.

Arsenal still perch at the very summit of the table, whilst Graham Potter’s men slump in 10th place.
Would you rather play for Mikel Arteta or Potter at this very moment in time?
