Club now close to signing ‘gifted’ 19-year-old Chelsea youngster on loan

Chelsea youngster Harvey Vale is now very close to leaving Stamford Bridge on loan.

That is according to a report from Football.London.

They claim that Harvey Vale, who’s just 19, is close to joining League One club Bristol Rovers on a season-long loan.

It is understood that the attacking midfielder will now get another crack at loan football after a very quiet spell at Hull City during the 2022/23 campaign.

Hopefully, the left-footed English talent can develop well in England’s third division.

This news comes at the same time that Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei is also tipped to be exiting the club on loan.

Journalist John Percy reported on Twitter yesterday that 20-year-old Chelsea midfielder is on the verge of joining Championship club Leicester City on loan.

If you’re Vale or Casadei, you should definitely have aspirations of breaking into the first-team fold in 2024.

Mauricio Pochettino is working with an extremely young squad of players at Stamford Bridge, so a successful year out on loan should edge you closer for next summer.

Vale, who’s been described as a “very technically gifted player” in the past by Chelsea’s Lewis Hall, is a very exciting rising talent from the Blues academy.

The versatile attacker is an important player in the Under-21s team, but impressing with Bristol Rovers this year is massive for his first-team aspirations.

If you’re a Chelsea player heading out on loan, Ian Maatsen should be the inspiration. He’s now in the Blues group after doing so well on loan at Burnley last season.
