Leicester City are now working on a deal to sign Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei on a season-long loan.
That is according to a report from The Telegraph.
They claim that Chelsea spent £17million in total to sign Cesare Casadei from Inter Milan last year, with the player viewed as someone with ‘huge potential’.
The 20-year-old midfielder is now linked with a loan move for next season, though.

The Telegraph claims that Championship side Leicester are trying to bring Casadei to the King Power Stadium on loan next season.
It is understood that the Foxes want the young box-to-box midfielder to help their bid for promotion next year.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano recently claimed on Twitter that Chelsea were planning to ignore four Championship clubs that want to take Casadei on loan. Instead, the Blues want him to experience either Premier League or Serie A football.

We will be very intrigued to see what happens with Casadei during the next few weeks, whether that’s him continuing to work with the first-team group or getting a temporary move away from the club.
The Italian youngster got minutes last season in the Blues Under-21s side before a short-term loan in the Championship with Reading. It feels vital that he spends the next campaign player regularly at a top standard.
He scored seven goals in seven games this summer for Italy’s youth team, who finished as runners-up at the Under-20s World Cup.
If Leicester do get their transfer target, we expect he’ll be a huge success next year as he continues to develop and mature.
Our one concern is that Chelsea find themselves extremely short on genuine central midfield options right now in the first team, so perhaps we need one or two through the door before granting young midfielders loans.
