Chelsea are open to selling a first-team player this summer after just one year at the club.
There has been a revolving door at Stamford Bridge recently with so many ins and outs. Thankfully, it does feel like a core squad of players is beginning to emerge at Chelsea, with Enzo Maresca winning two trophies last season during his first year in charge.
Maresca’s first pre-season squad at Chelsea included several individuals that are no longer on the club’s books. It would be exciting for the team to move forward and stick together for the foreseeable future, though.

Chelsea would cash in on Tosin Adarabioyo
After joining on a free transfer last summer, Tosin Adarabioyo, 27, enjoyed a really strong debut season in Chelsea colours.

However, the latest speculation is that the central defender may be sold for a suitable price.
According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea could be open to selling Tosin this summer if they receive bids in the region of £30m.
Apparently, the centre-back’s future at Stamford Bridge is now in doubt because he’s available if the Blues make a £30m profit.
It is explained that Premier League trio Newcastle United, West Ham United and Crystal Palace admire Tosin. In addition, Napoli, AC Milan and Monaco have interest in the Chelsea man.
Even though Tosin isn’t looking to leave Chelsea this summer, where he’s still under contract until 2028, it will be interesting to see if any of his suitors now decide to ramp up transfer interest.

Cole Palmer would be frustrated if Tosin Adarabioyo is sold
We are guessing that talk of Tosin’s potential sale wouldn’t go down well with supporters. Similarly, we doubt it would be popular within the dressing room.
Maresca named Tosin as one of Chelsea’s “leaders” in the squad last season, where he was the oldest outfield player.
In particular, Blues talisman Cole Palmer has a great relationship with his senior teammate. Palmer recently said he and Tosin can’t be separated around the club because of their close friendship.
Even though we understand the temptation of making an easy £30m profit on a squad player in the space of just a year, Tosin feels too important to what is being built right now. The English defender is extremely consistent whenever he’s called upon to play, and the smart move would be to keep Palmer happy.
