Conor Gallagher is prepared to leave Chelsea this summer if the club accept a bid for him.
That is according to well-respected journalist Simon Phillips.
Phillips has claimed on his Substack that Chelsea are willing to sell Conor Gallagher if their valuation of £40million-£50million is met.
It is explained that the 23-year-old Blues midfielder would ideally love to stay at Stamford Bridge and become a star at his boyhood club after graduating from the academy. He’s desperate to play regularly and stay in England’s senior squad, though.
Apparently, Gallagher’s open to leaving if Chelsea tell him they’re accepting a transfer offer. Tottenham, Brighton and Borussia Dortmund are names as clubs with “solid interest” in the box-to-box central midfielder.

There’s certainly plenty of speculation flying around right now regarding the Chelsea player.
For instance, journalist Ryan Taylor has claimed on Twitter this week that West Ham have now started talks over the potential transfer of Gallagher.
It’s worth noting that the midfielder has still travelled to the United States as part of the main squad for pre-season.

We think there’s still a lot more to come Chelsea’s Gallagher, who was called “fantastic” last season by Graham Potter (Football.London).
He’s previously shown in the Premier League during his loan spell at Crystal Palace he can be a genuine goalscoring midfielder in the top division, which is something Chelsea are crying out for in their squad.
We would like to see Mauricio Pochettino keep him and help improve him.
On the flip side, we can definitely see why it would be hard to look the other way if someone does bid £40million or above.
