Fabrizio Romano has claimed Nordi Mukiele has completed his move to PSG, despite a last-minute attempt by Chelsea to hijack the deal.
The 24-year-old was long-expected to join the French champions from RB Leipzig, with his versatility shown with the Bundesliga side making him an obvious target for the top European sides.
This apparently intrigued Chelsea, who are beginning to get desperate in their hunt for defensive reinforcements before the new season begins.

With his versatility matching that of previous target Jules Kounde, it is clear why the Blues were considering a late move.
However, Romano has claimed the interest came too late, with PSG all-but confirming the signing.
He tweeted: “Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig have completed, signed paperworks for Nordi Mukiele’s transfer. Done deal, official statement will follow after player contract signing.
“Campos completes third signing and Mukiele respects agreement with PSG despite Chelsea attempt.”
Mukiele completes move to PSG
It had been reported that Chelsea were willing to include Timo Werner in a deal to sign Mukiele, potentially setting up the German for a return to the club where he made his name on the European stage.
While he may not have been involved in this deal, it’s not the first time the club have been speculated to be open to letting him go this summer.
It had been reported his name was being discussed as a potential piece in the Matthijs de Ligt deal, before he completed his transfer to Bayern Munich.

Juventus however are reportedly still interested in the German, with it being claimed that manager Massimiliano Allegri keen on bringing him in.
While having one eye on departures, the need to add to the defence remains, with a number of targets now slipping through the net.
The club would be wise to move towards promising-yet-established talent Josko Gvardiol, also at Leipzig.
While it will take a big offer to sign the Croatian, the apparent lack of interest from elsewhere could give the Blues a clear path to a deal, something they have struggled to find so far.
