Chelsea are poised to be busy yet again on deadline day, with a plethora of incomings and outgoings expected before the window slams shut at 7pm.
Enzo Maresca is not happy with the club due to their lack of backing in areas he has requested for, despite the fact that they have significantly strengthened from last season’s squad.
Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Jorrel Hato and Liam Delap are amongst those who have joined the club, however there is talk over a potential new striker following the Englishman’s injury against Fulham.
There will be more focus at Stamford Bridge on the potential exits of some players, with many individuals getting lost in the shuffle away from the first team squad.

Cardiff City keen on signing Omari Kellyman on loan
One of those is Omari Kellyman, who is yet to play for Maresca’s side and has been very unfortunate with injuries since his £19m move to West London.
Kellyman didn’t travel to the Club World Cup with the rest of the Chelsea squad, and it has been said on multiple occasions that a loan move away would be in the offing.
This finally seems as if it is coming to fruition. According to WalesOnline, Cardiff City are keen on bringing in the attacking midfielder on loan before the window closes in less than 24 hours’ time.
Cardiff were relegated to League One last season, however have enjoyed an excellent start to the campaign, currently sitting top of the table.

Maresca good friends with the Cardiff manager
While Maresca was at Manchester City, he worked alongside Brian Barry-Murphy as part of the elite development squad’s coaching staff.
The two formed a strong relationship there, with the current Cardiff boss speaking highly of the Italian on multple occasions since his move to become a manager.
Maresca will therefore be able to have full faith that the EFL side will have Kellyman’s best intentions at heart if they bring him in.
It remains to be seen though if a deal can be agreed before Monday’s 7pm deadline.
