Enzo Maresca looks more than open to keeping one of his Chelsea stars despite barely using him.
Chelsea were able to win the Club World Cup, largely because of the amount of talent that they have in attack and midfield.
Maresca was able to call upon the likes of Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro, Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez at the tournament, players who all made big contributions to the team’s success.
As a result, the Chelsea head coach was not in a position to give too many opportunities to the likes of Andrey Santos and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. However, Santos did impress in the one match he did start in the US.

Chelsea haven’t transfer-listed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Like Santos, Dewsbury-Hall was also only able to start one game at the Club World Cup.
However, the midfielder did make multiple substitute appearances and managed to score when he came on against Benfica in the round of 16.
Dewsbury-Hall is not indispensable to Chelsea, but it does not look like Maresca is in a hurry to get rid of him.
According to The Standard, while the Blues will consider offers for the 26-year-old this summer, they have not transfer-listed him.
Chelsea only signed Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City last July, but his future at Stamford Bridge has come into doubt.
During the 2024/25 Premier League season, the Englishman was handed just two starts.

The players Chelsea have transfer-listed
Joao Felix is a fairly new signing like Dewsbury-Hall, but he will not be shown the same kind of patience, it seems.
The Standard’s report states that Felix is not part of Chelsea’s plans, with the club trying to offload the Portuguese attacker permanently instead of sending him out on loan again.
Felix spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign at AC Milan, but the Italian giants opted against buying him.
Christopher Nkunku is also expected to depart despite his role at the Club World Cup. Inter Milan have recently been linked with Nkunku.
