Chelsea plan to unveil the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk at Stamford Bridge on Sunday ahead of the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 22-year-old reportedly flew to London in a private jet on Saturday alongside senior Chelsea executives who held a meeting with Shakhtar Donetsk in Turkey over a potential transfer.
The meeting was said to result in an agreement between both parties on a fixed fee of €70million (£62m) and a further €30m (£26.5m) in add-ons for the winger.
Romano claims that Mudryk completed his medical on Sunday morning and was expected to sign a seven-and-a-half-year contract to finalise his transfer to Chelsea.

Similar to recent Chelsea signings, the long-term contract is a strategy from Chelsea to spread the amortisation of Mudryk’s transfer fees to a longer period in order to remain compliant with UEFA Financial Fair Play regulations.
At the time of this writing, Chelsea have yet to confirm the signing, although they have clearly shared a hint or two on social media.
The most recent one is their uploading a video compilation of Mudryk’s skills on Twitter.
The obvious teasing may have been planned, however, as Romano claims that Chelsea plan to unveil the Ukraine international as a new signing at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The home match against Crystal Palace gives them the perfect opportunity to do so.
Mudryk, who made his senior debut for Shakthar at the age of 17 in 2018, has scored seven goals from 12 matches in the Ukrainian Premier League this season.
He has also proved himself at the highest level by registering three goals and two assists in the Champions League this term.
