Chelsea are not giving up in their bid to sign one of their targets this summer.
Last week, Chelsea confirmed the signing of Marc Guiu from Barcelona.
Guiu is a striker, but the Blues still look keen on bringing in another centre-forward before the transfer window closes.
They have been linked with several names, including Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion.
In fact, it has already been claimed that Chelsea have had an offer for the latter turned down.

Chelsea remain in contact with people close to striker
Fabrizio Romano has been discussing Chelsea’s search for another centre-forward.
According to the transfer expert, the club are still keeping in touch with people close to Omorodion, with their interest in him still obviously there.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, Romano said: “Samu Omorodion remains one of the names appreciated by Chelsea for the striker position this summer. Omorodion is a player they like, as I reported 20 days ago when Chelsea had a bid rejected by Atletico Madrid.
“For now it remains the case that Atletico don’t want to sell Omorodion, but Chelsea are still keeping contacts active with those close to the player.”
The Italian journalist also added: “Chelsea still appreciate the player and will hope the door can perhaps open for them at some point.”
Chelsea potentially setting up future transfer for Samu Omorodion
Chelsea can continue their pursuit of Omorodion this summer, but a deal looks extremely difficult.
Romano has also stated that the 20-year-old is happy at Atletico, and according to The Sun, it could cost £70m to convince the Spanish club to sell him.
By staying in contact with his people and building a good rapport with them, though, perhaps Chelsea will be able to do a deal in the future.
For now, however, it looks like Omorodion will be staying at Atletico. It is hard to imagine the Blues spending £70m on an unproven striker. Then again, they did make Mykhailo Mudryk the fourth most expensive signing in their history despite the winger not being too experienced himself.
You can never rule out Chelsea doing something crazy in the transfer market.
