Chelsea have agreed a fee to sign Brighton forward Joao Pedro, however that may not be the end of their business this summer.
The Blues pipped Newcastle to the signing of Pedro, with the Brazilian making it clear that he wanted to leave Brighton this summer.
Chelsea wanted Pedro in their squad for the Club World Cup, with him set to join up with the squad in time for their quarter-final tie with Palmeiras.
Just 24 hours earlier, it was reported that the Blues had agreed a deal for Jamie Gittens, after chasing the signing of the Borussia Dortmund man throughout the summer.

Fabrizio Romano tips another attacking signing for Chelsea after Joao Pedro
The Englishman will not be eligible to compete at the Club World Cup, meaning that Chelsea fans will have to wait until their first fixture of the new season against Crystal Palace to see him in action.
The Blues have been linked with a number of other attackers throughout this transfer window, however Fabrizio Romano has not ruled out there being more offensive signings this summer after Pedro.
He said: “Let me tell you, I will not be surprised if Chelsea add one more player in the offensive positions this summer. I will not be surpised at all, because Chelsea are still looking at options for the attacking positions. Let’s see what’s going to happen with potential outgoings.
“We still have to keep an eye on Chelsea. Yes they signed Delap, Gittens and Pedro, but I will not be surprised if they decide to add one more between now and the end of August. So, let’s follow the situation, but Chelsea will be active again on the market.”
The Blues have already parted ways with Jadon Sancho, with Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix expected to leave the club this summer.

Chelsea’s other attacking transfer targets
The Blues have a long-standing interest in Hugo Ekitike, however have seen progress on signing him stall due to the price that Eintracht Frankfurt are demanding.
Chelsea have had a proposal rejected for Mohammed Kudus, with them keen on signing the West Ham man despite already signing Gittens and Pedro.
West Ham are expecting offers for their star man, and Chelsea may be hoping that their London rivals would be willing to accept players in a swap deal.
Chelsea offered seven players in exchange for Kudus earlier this summer, with them keen to move on a number of individuals to facilitate more signings.
