Crystal Palace chairman and co-owner Steve Parish has admitted his club would love to re-sign Chelsea talent Conor Gallagher this summer.
Gallagher, 22, has been enjoying a superb campaign during his season-long loan with Palace this year.
In fact, the Chelsea loanee has even won the award for Palace’s player of the season.
The box-to-box midfielder has definitely taken his game up another level during this year’s loan, scoring eight goals and making five assists in 36 appearances.
It’s no surprise to hear from Palace chiefs that they want Gallagher back at Selhurst Park next season.
“We would love to have him back. We are not going to pretend that that’s not the case,” Parish told Sky Sports.
“Conor will make his own choices, and the club will have something to say about it, but we have enjoyed every minute of having him here this season.
“And if that’s all we get of him, and we hope it’s not, then he has been a fantastic asset to the club as a player and as a person as well.”

However, Parish may be left bitterly disappointed.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has already said he thinks Gallagher can be a part of his first-team plans at Stamford Bridge next season.
He’ll link up with the Blues for pre-season, so it’ll be intriguing to see if he can convince Tuchel to keep him.
Frank Lebouef has previously explained he thinks Gallagher could be a great fit in the side next season.
England regular?
If Gallagher wants to become a permanent in the England XI, making a real chance at Chelsea next season should really boost his chances.
He’s earned three senior caps now under Gareth Southgate for the Three Lions, which highlights just how big his impact has been at Palace.
However, can he do it on the European level with Chelsea?
