Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea and Leicester City have agreed a deal for Cesare Casadei to move to the Championship side on loan.
He took to Twitter to state that the youngster is set to undergo a medical this week and confirm his move to the King Power Stadium.
Casadei has been the benefactor of a very successful pre-season for the Blues. They went unbeaten for the first time since 2011 during their tour of the United States.

He got himself plenty of minutes too, playing in a range of midfield positions with numerous partners.
Alongside Andrey Santos, he was one of the players who impressed new manager Mauricio Pochettino as he got to grips with his young, inexperienced squad.
He was described when joining the club as a player with ‘huge potential’.
Casadei loan to Leicester
It had been claimed that the Blues were looking for a Premier League side to take the Italian on loan, with them believing that he is good enough to feature in the top flight on a regular basis.
However, a move to one of the best teams in the second tier is undoubtedly a great opportunity for him to show his talents, and their manager has reportedly played a big role.

Romano has claimed the belief Foxes boss Enzo Maresca can bring the best out of him was crucial in their decision on where to send him.
He said: “Leicester City have agreed loan deal for Cesare Casadei to join from Chelsea – as revealed in the morning.
“Deal in place and medical this week, if all goes to plan. Chelsea believe Maresca will be crucial to help Casadei develop best way. Here we go.”
