Chelsea have already been involved in a pretty busy final day of the summer transfer window, and their business looks set to continue after agreeing a deal for one of their youngsters.
There has been a lot of focus on players leaving the club, now it looks agreed that striker Marc Guiu is returning to provide cover for the striker position.
The Spaniard’s return has allowed them to progress in talks again to send Nicolas Jackson to Bayern Munich, after seemingly pulling out of any loan deal over the weekend.
If no big name comes in, there will be pressure on Guiu to deliver, as well as youngsters at the club in the EFL Cup, where he is cup-tied from his time at Sunderland.

Peterborough agree loan deal for Jimmy-Jay Morgan
One of the young options who was available to Enzo Maresca was Jimmy-Jay Morgan. He has been amongst the goals when featured in Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy since his move from Southampton.
Morgan joined Gillingham on loan back in January, and now according to journalist Pete O’Rourke, is set to move to Peterborough for the 2025/26 campaign.
He said: “Understand highly-rated Chelsea forward Jimmy Jay Morgan is being lined up for a loan move to Peterborough.”
Then, he added: “Peterborough have agreed loan deal for Chelsea forward Jimmy Jay Morgan. Big signing for Posh.”

Jimmy Jay-Morgan’s impressive stats at Chelsea
Whilst never making an appearance for the Chelsea first team up to now, Morgan has impressed greatly whenever he has been given the chance at youth level.

If Chelsea need to look to their youth this season, it seems like Shumaira Mheuka will be given the chance after briefly contributing for the first team last season.
The striker has five goals in three games this season for the U21s, and he is stepping up to the challenge of playing multiple years above his age group.
