Chelsea are going to demand a pretty sizeable loan fee today for Armando Broja.

This comes amid transfer speculation that Premier League clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham are both trying to sign Armando Broja on deadline day.

First of all, journalist Ben Jacobs reported via X this morning that Chelsea are now willing to consider sending Broja out on loan.

Now, Jacobs added via X that the Blues will demand a £5 million loan fee for their striker.

We’ll wait for further updates on a transfer story that’s moving pretty quickly on deadline day, but the speculation points towards Broja exiting Stamford Bridge at the last minute.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed via X this morning that Wolves are back in the running to sign Broja after previously failing with an attempt earlier this window to take him on loan.

Elsewhere, The Daily Mail reports that Fulham may be primed to make an offer worth £30million today for Broja.

Armando Broja interest

We can see logic behind Broja moving elsewhere to rediscover his form after a difficult first half of the season in Chelsea colours, but the club needs to make sure they don’t leave themselves too short at the top end of the pitch.

It would be quite an achievement to squeeze a £5m figure for a Broja loan, but it’s obvious that there’s clubs out there desperately searching for a new No 9 on deadline day.

We don’t mind Chelsea biding their time for a new centre-forward if they’re waiting to go all in for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen this summer.

The Blues may feel they have enough firepower to cope until the end of the season, especially after seeing Christopher Nkunku return and score a fantastic goal in yesterday’s defeat at Liverpool.
