Conor Gallagher was apparently not swayed by Everton’s efforts to prize him from Chelsea.
Speaking on the Transfer Mailbag, Fraser Fletcher claimed that Gallagher had not had his head turned by a reported approach from the Toffees.
Everton apparently submitted a surprise £45m bid for the midfielder yesterday, as they aim to add some extra quality in their quest for Premier League survival.
Gallagher is clearly a wanted man heading into the final stretch of the transfer window.

Along with Frank Lampards former employers, Newcastle United, West Ham United and Crystal Palace have all been linked with a move for the Stamford Bridge star.
But neither of the United’s, nor Palace, have yet made a significant approach for the Chelsea academy graduate yet like Everton.
Yet, despite this clear interest from the Goodison Park chain of command, Gallagher seemingly has his sights on bigger and better projects.
Where will Conor Gallagher end up today?
“Conor Gallagher, I can confirm that he did say he didn’t want to join Everton, he sees himself as a top six player and a player who is pushing for Europe or in an about that area,” explained Fletcher.
Unfortunately for the England international, it seems unlikely he will get European football with Chelsea this season.

Graham Potter’s side, despite a small upturn in form, are still way off the top six, let alone the Champions League chasers.
If Conor has ambitions to play on the grandest domestic footballing stage, then perhaps Newcastle is the club he should be speaking to.
