Chelsea forward Joao Felix could make a very surprising move when the transfer window opens this summer.

Felix is currently on loan at AC Milan but will not be staying there after disappointing at the San Siro.

Felix has already been told to “go away” by one Milan-based website. It is also very unlikely that he remains at Chelsea.

The 25-year-old could not get into the team ahead of Cole Palmer this season and that will not change next term.

Saudi Pro League clubs interested in Joao Felix

Felix has played for some of the best clubs in the world, representing Chelsea, Milan, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Benfica in his career.

Other than at Benfica, though, the Portuguese has failed to show any consistency and his time at the top could now be over as a result.

According to CaughtOffside, Felix is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, with clubs there in a position to pay his transfer fee and big wages.

The outlet claims that Chelsea are likely to demand a minimum of €35m (£30m) for the Portugal international.

Felix is not the only high-profile attacker who could depart Stamford Bridge this summer. It has been reported that Chelsea are also willing to sell Christopher Nkunku for around the same price.

Like Felix, the Frenchman has also struggled to make an impact in west London, though injuries are partly to blame.

Other potential destinations for Joao Felix

Ahead of the transfer window opening, Felix has also been linked to Galatasaray. The Turkish league is perhaps stronger than the Saudi Pro League, but again, such links show that Felix could really be done at the elite level.

CaughtOffside’s report also claims that Felix is already in talks with Benfica over a return to the club, so they could be another option for him.

At 25, it would be a much better move than joining a Saudi Arabian club. Felix has more than enough talent to continue playing in Europe.
