Juventus are now willing to sell Paul Pogba in order to fund a move for Chelsea wonderkid Cesare Casadei.
That is according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
So, what is the latest on Cesare Casadei and Chelsea? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the Italian news outlet believe Juventus are ready to listen to offers for Pogba.
The Italian giants are keen to remove the France international’s £170,000-a-week wages from the salary bill, and would like to sign Casadei as his replacement.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is another option for Juventus as Massimiliano Allegri aims to strengthen his midfield department.
It speaks volumes that a European giant as big as Juventus as looking at Casadei, who is yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea.

The Italy Under-20 international joined the Blues in a £12.6m deal from Inter Milan back in August 2022.
Casadei made 13 appearances for Chelsea’s Under-21 side before joining Reading on loan in January, where he was badly mismanaged by Paul Ince as the Royals suffered relegation to League One.
Nevertheless, the 20-year-old was not to blame, and recently showed off his remarkable talent by winning the Golden Boot at the Under-20 World Cup, as well as the Player of the Tournament award.
Chelsea cannot – and surely will not – sell Casadei
In our view, Juventus may as well save themselves some time and cross Casadei off their shortlist.
Chelsea have only just signed the Italian wonderkid, and he is expected to have a seriously bright future at Stamford Bridge.

According to the Evening Standard, Mauricio Pochettino was impressed by Casadei’s efforts at the Under-20 World Cup, and is planning to take a look at him throughout pre-season.
Juventus should focus their efforts on signing Milinkovic-Savic instead, as Chelsea surely won’t sell Casadei so soon after bringing him to west London.
