Mykhailo Mudryk has told Chelsea they should go and sign Shakhtar Donetsk’s Georgiy Sudakov.

That is according to TEAMtalk.

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, 22, previously played alongside Georgiy Sudakov at club level. They’re still teammates on the international stage with Ukraine, though.

Now, the attacker is receiving a lot of transfer interest to follow in the footsteps of Mudryk and move away from Shakhtar Donetsk.

TEAMtalk claims that the likes of Juventus, Arsenal, Manchester City and Brighton are all interested in signing Sudakov. There’s interest from two unnamed Portuguese sides, too.

It is understood that Mudryk has even talked up the 21-year-old to Chelsea as well and suggested him as a transfer target for them.

So, could we see Mauricio Pochettino’s side enter the race?

Speaking back in July via Vanguard, Mudryk admitted he would like to be reunited with Sudakov at Stamford Bridge.

When asked if he would like Sudakov at Chelsea, Mudryk replied: “That would be great.”

Sudakovc, who’s still only 21, is a young attacking midfielder growing into an important player for Shakhtar.

The playmaker’s now scored 12 goals and made 12 assists in 75 first-team appearances for the club. He’s got nine senior international caps for Ukraine, too.

Chelsea fans have seen through Mudryk’s first eight months in England that it’s a gigantic leap from the Ukrainian division to the Premier League. Therefore, the Blues would be wise to be extra cautious with this one.
