Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Robert Sanchez has now completed his medical ahead of becoming a new Chelsea player.
He took to Twitter to state that an official statement was incoming to announce his move from Brighton.
Yesterday saw the journalist give his traditional ‘here we go’ to announce an agreement had been reached between the clubs to see Sanchez move from the South Coast to London.

He had fallen out of favour at his prior club, and had asked Roberto De Zerbi to be left out of the matchday squad as the season came to an end.
Despite this, his quality still suggests he has enough to start for a good Premier League side. Graham Potter previously described him as ‘amazing’.
They still have Kepa Arrizabalaga, who came back into the first XI last season and established himself as the clear number one.
Sanchez medical complete
It has emerged that Mauricio Pochettino is a big fan of the Spain international, however was open to the club adding another star in the spirit of competition.
Romano has claimed that this has now occurred, with a statement announcing his arrival coming soon.
He said: “Robert Sanchez has completed medical tests as new Chelsea player. Contract set to be signed after deal in place with Brighton, official statement to follow.

“Brighton to receive £20m fee plus £5m add-ons.”
Chelsea supporters will be hoping this deal doesn’t signal the end of their business with Brighton this summer, with them looking to also add Moises Caicedo to their ranks.
However, negotiations have hit a wall at this stage between the two parties, with the Seagulls insistent on their asking price being met.
