Chelsea defender Malang Sarr is seemingly keen on becoming the first player to make the move to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
Journalist Andreas Korssund took to Twitter to claim they were interested in signing the 24-year-old this summer.
Last season saw Sarr look to prove himself to the Chelsea hierarchy that he does have a future at a club which is quickly changing into its new shape.

However, it’s fair to say he did not take this opportunity with both hands.
Monaco were hardly thrilled with his displays during his loan spell, and did not even try to turn the loan deal into something permanent.
He has never been particularly consistent at Stamford Bridge either. However, there have been some performances that suggested he was worth holding on to.
Sarr open to Strasbourg move
Former manager Thomas Tuchel once described him as ‘reliable’, as he stacked up a fair amount of appearances in the 2021/22 campaign.
Now though, Korssund has claimed that the defender is being considered to be the first Blue to move to the recently acquired Strasbourg.

He said: “EXCL: Strasbourg are interested in signing Malang Sarr from Chelsea. The talks between the clubs are expected to go smoothly as BlueCo have huge responsibility in both clubs. The French player is open to the move.”
Chelsea will almost certainly look to use the Ligue 1 side as a club to help them develop some of their young players on loan, with the owner Todd Boehly still looking to add youngsters to their ranks.
With the recently acquired Benoit Badiashile and returning loanee Levi Colwill, it is now unlikely an opportunity crops up for Sarr to return to the first team at Stamford Bridge.
