Chelsea target Victor Osimhen has just been offered £1m-a-week to play for Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia following links to Stamford Bridge.

That is according to Sky Sports.

So, what is the latest on Chelsea target Victor Osimhen? Let’s take a look…

What’s the story?

Well – according to 90min – the Nigeria international was Mauricio Pochettino’s No.1 striker target at the start of the summer.

The Guardian added that Chelsea were plotting a move for Osimhen at the Argentine’s request.

Now – however – the Napoli No.9 seems likely to join Al Hilal, unless he chooses to reject an incredible amount of money.

Sky Sports believe Osimhen has been offered a whopping £1m-a-week to play in the Saudi Pro League, and Napoli have received a huge bid worth £120.3m for their talisman.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a special 2022/23 campaign, scoring 31 goals in 39 appearances as Napoli won their first Serie A title in 33 years.

Sky Sports add that Napoli are unlikely to sell Osimhen – who has been called a “phenomenal” player by Walter Mazzarri – for anything less than £128.8m this summer.

That is not far away from what Al Hilal have offered, so a deal could soon be struck between both sides.

Vlahovic seems the most likely striker arrival at Chelsea after Osimhen links

By the looks of things, Chelsea have simply been priced out of a move for Osimhen by Napoli, although the interest is certainly there.

As things stand, Juventus No.9 Dusan Vlahovic appears to be the most likely striker to arrive at Stamford Bridge.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have reopened talks with the Italian giants over a player-plus-cash deal including Romelu Lukaku, who appears to have no future at Stamford Bridge.

If talks progress well, the Serbia international could be the latest striker arriving in west London.

Be sure to keep an eye on the situation, as anything could happen.
