Fulham have entered talks with Chelsea to discuss signing Callum Hudson-Odoi from them.

That is according to The Times.

They claim that Fulham are talking about Callum Hudson-Odoi’s future with Premier League and London rivals Chelsea.

It is understood that Hudson-Odoi, who’s still only 22, now wants Chelsea to sell him in this summer transfer window.

The report explains that Fulham are in conversations about bringing the Blues winger to Craven Cottage.

We’ve heard other clubs linked with Hudson-Odoi in the transfer rumour mill, though.

Hudson-Odoi has been with Chelsea since a very young age and is such a highly-rated talent to come out of the academy at Cobham, making 126 first-team appearances for his boyhood club as well.

Unfortunately, the English attacker has lost his way on the pitch in the past couple of years.

He’s decided he wants a fresh challenge away from Stamford Bridge to get on track, which is a shame when you remember how much potential he’s got.

Described as “incredible” in the past by Conor Gallagher, as quoted by JD Sports, Hudson-Odoi can still have a big future ahead of him.

The way Marco Silva got Fulham playing last season was quite impressive, with their wide roles quite important in the system.

It’s never much fun watching our neighbours Fulham do too well, especially when we struggle. We would love to see Hudson-Odoi get back on track with them, though.

His season-long loan to Bayer Leverkusen didn’t really work out, so a switch to a Premier League rival makes much more sense to us.
