Liverpool are now confident that they can sign Levi Colwill from Chelsea this summer.
That is according to a report this morning from 90min.
They claim that Liverpool are prepared to make a bid for Levi Colwill and believe they can take him to Anfield.
The report adds that the 20-year-old Blues defender is not convinced his long-term future should be at Stamford Bridge. In particular, he’s worried he won’t get the chance next season to prove himself under Mauricio Pochettino.
It is understood that Chelsea are convinced their academy graduate isn’t for sale in this window, but Liverpool could be about to test their resolve.

TalkSPORT claimed earlier this month that Brighton are prepared to spend a club-record £40million fee to re-sign Colwill. This comes after the young centre-back enjoyed a very impressive season-long loan at Brighton last year.
We’re not sure how much Merseyside giants Liverpool are willing to offer, though.
Colwill has had the welcomed distraction this summer of the Under-21s European Championship, which he ended up winning as a key player for England.
Now, the spotlight is firmly on him to see the outcome of his future.

The Daily Mail recently explained that Pochettino is due to hold face-to-face talks this week with Colwill regarding his Chelsea future. They added that a new contract for the centre-half may be on the table, but it’ll be important for the player to hear he will play next season if he stays with the Blues.
We’re desperate to hear a positive outcome from these discussions with Colwill, who looks like a super talent from the academy ranks.
Andy Jacobs has urged Chelsea to make sure they keep Colwill at the club next season (TalkSPORT).
We dread to think of the potential backlash from supporters if he did actually end up at Liverpool.
