Mauricio Pochettino could now be about to miss out on his No.1 target at Chelsea as Moises Caicedo prepares to choose Arsenal.
That is what’s being suggested by Ecuadorian news outlet Teradeportes.
So, what was written about Chelsea target Moises Caicedo? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, a picture speaks a thousands words, and Teradeportes have allowed a graphic of theirs to do most of the talking in this instance.
The Ecuadorian news outlet – who should have their finger on the pulse when it comes to updates about Caicedo, arguably Ecuador’s greatest talent for many years – wrote that “the decision is very close” on Twitter.
That interesting caption was accompanied by a graphic of the Brighton No.25 wearing an Arsenal shirt, which was intriguingly placed next to a blurrier image of Caicedo in Chelsea colours.
It suggests that the South American has chosen the Gunners ahead of the Blues, with Chelsea pushed into the background in Teradeportes’ post – which you can see below.
Teradeportes did not elaborate on the post by publishing an article on their website.
However, the telling tweet has since gone viral, with many Arsenal fans allowing themselves to get excited over the prospect of Caicedo moving to the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea will be gutted to miss out on Caicedo
If Caicedo really is going to Arsenal, Pochettino and Chelsea will surely be devastated.
The Blues have already missed out on Manuel Ugarte to PSG, with Simon Phillips claiming that Caicedo is now Pochettino’s No.1 target as the Argentine aims to find a partner for Enzo Fernandez.

Therefore, if Chelsea also missed out on the Ecuadorian wonderkid, it would throw a spanner in the works as far as the summer recruitment plans are concerned.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Caicedo is set to announce his decision soon according to Teradeportes.
