It has been claimed that Tottenham are getting increasingly confident that they will complete a deal today to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.
That’s according to TheSecretScout, who tweeted that the Blues remain open to letting him go this summer.
Tonight still sees a number of Chelsea’s first team players who have their future’s undetermined. This is despite there being just a few hours left until the deadline.
Gallagher has seemingly been available for the right price throughout the entire transfer window.
This is despite him seeming to be a favourite of manager Mauricio Pochettino at this time. He has started every game for the club this season.

He was even named the captain for the midweek League Cup game against lower league competition. The smile on his face when talking about it showed how much that honour meant to him.
However, a move cannot yet be ruled out. Spurs are circling in on a late move for him.
TheSecretScout has claimed that they are at this stage confident of pulling off a deal tonight.
He said: “Understand Tottenham are confident of signing Conor Gallagher before the deadline.
“Chelsea open to letting him go due to new arrivals.”
It would be a huge mistake this late in the window to allow Gallagher to leave, especially if it results in a rival being strengthened.
