Chelsea’s first-team player is reportedly attracting interest ahead of the January transfer window.
With next month’s transfer window drawing closer, it’s interesting to see that a few Chelsea players are now linked with potential moves away from Stamford Bridge in 2025.
The Blues squad is stacked with top-class talent this season. Therefore, some high-profile names may not be getting the amount of minutes they desire.
In fairness, Enzo Maresca’s rotation and management of his group of players has been a major plus point in the opening half of the campaign.
Darren Bent thinks Chelsea’s squad depth matches any Premier League club.

West Ham keen on Chelsea defender Axel Disasi
According to TBR Football, West Ham are interested in signing Chelsea’s Axel Disasi ahead of the January window.
It is explained that a temporary deal may be on the cards as the Hammers would be willing to take the 26-year-old Blues defender on loan.
The report adds that Chelsea are open to allowing their French star to leave.
While Disasi isn’t in the club’s best XI right now, he’s still played 12 games across all competitions this season. He’s chipped in with two goals, too.
The £80,000-a-week centre-back (Spotrac), who can also cover at right-back, has slipped down the defensive pecking order since Enzo Maresca took charge as the Chelsea manager in the summer.
At times this season, it’s felt like Disasi is behind Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo for the starting centre-half role.
Axel Disasi previously linked with exit
In fairness, this isn’t the first time that Disasi has been linked with a potential move away from Chelsea.
Even though the he only joined the Blues in the summer of 2023, there was speculation about his future after just one year at the club.
Chelsea were open to selling Disasi this summer because of concerns about his playing time. He’s ended up staying put in west London for the first half of this season, but the fact he’s only played three Premier League matches under Maresca tells its own story.
West Ham, who’ve conceded 28 goals in 15 league games this season, could be big winners if they do manage to sign Disasi. On his day, he’s definitely a decent Premier League standard defender.
