Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain could find themselves going head-to-head in the summer transfer window.
With PSG possibly set to lose Kylian Mbappe at the end of the season, they are currently looking at RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed on Substack.
However, Sesko is a forward who Chelsea also have on their radar.
According to The Athletic, the Blues have been scouting the 20-year-old, who will be available this summer.
Sesko has a €50m (£42.8m) release clause in his contract which is set to become active, reports Sky Germany journalist Philipp Hinze.

PSG and Chelsea could battle for Benjamin Sesko’s signature
Both PSG and Chelsea will probably have to sign a new striker in the summer. As already mentioned, the former are about to lose Mbappe as he approaches the end of his contract.
As for the latter, they do not have a prolific centre-forward like Mbappe to begin with, so it makes sense that they are scouring the market for someone in that position.
Right now, you cannot really say that Sesko is that prolific centre-forward. He has actually only scored six goals in the Bundesliga this season, which is one less than Nicolas Jackson’s Premier League tally.
However, Sesko is still 20 and stands at 6 ft 4. He has the potential to develop into the perfect Premier League No.9.
If Chelsea cannot land Victor Osimhen or Ivan Toney, for example, we do not think that the Slovenian would be a bad option for the club to consider. In an ideal world, though, Mauricio Pochettino ends up with the finished article immediately.
As a manager, one in charge of a huge club like Chelsea, the Argentine will know that he will not be given too much time. He only arrived at Stamford Bridge on a two-year contract.
