Reports suggest Chelsea’s record signing Romelu Lukaku is working harder than ever to end his time at Stamford Bridge.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Belgian is willing to make sacrifices to return to Inter Milan, with the clubs in talks over a potential deal.
Romano is now pushing Chelsea to let him leave as soon as possible, with Inter the only club he is interested in joining.
The 29-year-old returned to London with great fanfare after a dominant season in Serie A, where the Nerazzurri ended Juventus’ dominance of the league.

Things started well in the opening six weeks, as games against Arsenal and Aston Villa in particular showed signs that the Blues had finally found their world-class striker.
However, injuries and a vast drop off in form contributed to a sharp downfall, and he ended the campaign on just eight league goals.
While news of a potential return to Inter has been widely speculated, transfer guru Romano has reported things are heating up, with the clubs in discussions and Lukaku open to a pay cut to get it done.
Romano said: “Inter are pushing to sign Romelu Lukaku this summer. The Belgian striker is now insisting with Chelsea to leave the club, he only wants Inter move.

“Talks ongoing on the potential loan fee between the two clubs, while Lukaku would be ready to reduce his salary.”

It feels paramount that the Blues find a suitable scenario to let Lukaku leave the club.
While the deal had promise at the start, the Belgian failed to step up to the demands of Chelsea’s gruelling schedule, seemingly giving up at stages throughout the season.
However, one out simply has to mean one in for the club in the striker position, although that name may have already happened.
Armando Broja will return to the club this summer after showing his quality for Southampton last season, and an opportunity in a side with far more creative players could present the Blues an opportunity for a decent return.
