Chelsea are in danger of losing out on one player to Real Madrid this summer.
Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies is a target for Real Madrid and the Spanish giants have been in contact with his agent, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
It is not good news for Chelsea, who also seem to be keen on Davies.
Back in November, journalist Simon Phillips claimed that the Blues were interested in the left-back, though a deal this month was never going to happen.
However, a transfer in the summer now also looks extremely difficult with Real Madrid having already made their move.

Real Madrid ahead of Chelsea in the race for Alphonso Davies
Real Madrid look to be in the driving seat for Davies here after contacting his agent. It is not just that, though. The La Liga outfit are obviously so far ahead of Chelsea right now.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men are competing for the title and are going for their 15th Champions League trophy, while Mauricio Pochettino‘s side are in mid-table.
At this stage, albeit not impossible, it seems unlikely that Davies will be joining Chelsea, which is a real shame. The Blues could probably do with a new left-back coming in.
You would not have said that at the beginning of the season. Chelsea started the campaign with Ben Chilwell, Marc Cucurella and Ian Maatsen as left-back options, while Levi Colwill quickly joined the ranks.
However, Chilwell cannot stay fit, while Maatsen is closing in on a move to Borussia Dortmund. All of a sudden, Chelsea do not look that great in the position anymore.
They should have enough to get to the end of the campaign. But going forward, Davies could be a smart buy, especially if Chilwell picks up another bad injury. Real Madrid, though, look set to foil their plans.
