Spanish giants Barcelona are reportedly desperate to sign Leeds United’s Raphinha, who’s recently received transfer links to Chelsea.
According to Sport, Barcelona are identifying Brazilian attacker Raphinha as a number one target ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is explained the La Liga club are already in negotiations for the Premier League star.
Previously, the Leeds winger has been linked with Chelsea earlier this month. Well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano explained Thomas Tuchel’s Blues are one of the clubs to discuss Raphinha with his agent, and that he could cost just £25million if Leeds are relegated this season.
Raphinha, described as “unbelievable” by club teammate Illan Meslier, already has nine Premier League goals this season.
The 25-year-old left-footer has exquisite close control and skill in the final third, so it won’t be a surprise to see him move up the football ladder to a bigger club in the near future.

Shouldn’t be Chelsea priority
Raphinha’s mooted as a priority target for Barcelona to bring to the Camp Nou, something that he definitely shouldn’t be for Chelsea.
First of all, the Blues need new ownership in place at Stamford Bridge before they can think about transfer targets.
Afterwards, it’s the club’s defensive area that needs fixing straight away.
There is uncertainty around the futures of several experienced centre-backs, so Tuchel’s squad is likely to need filling in the heart of defence.
