Chelsea are about to receive a new offer from Manchester United for Mason Mount.
That is according to The Mirror.
Chelsea’s attacking midfielder Mason Mount, 24, is a hot topic for discussion right now in the transfer rumour mill.
There’s a lot of talk that the Englishman could exit Stamford Bridge due to the fact he’s entering the final year of his contract, but a lot still needs to happen first.

The Mirror reports that United are ready to make an improved £50million bid for Mount.
It is understood that they failed with their initial £40million attempt this summer, but they’ll soon be back again with an increased offer to try sign the Chelsea talent.
The report does adds that Erik ten Hag’s side don’t plan on increasing the fee beyond £50million, so this is very much a take it or leave it offer.
Chelsea are said to value their academy graduate at around £70million, but they risk losing him on a free transfer next year if they don’t cash in on him this summer.
Incidentally, 90min said last month that incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is a big fan of Mount and wants him to be central to his team.

Mount is a player that we really want to stay at Chelsea, like so many of our fans.
The ‘tremendous’ playmaker may have seen his form dip during the 2022/23 season, but he’s been so influential at the club during the course of the last few years.
However, it does make sense to sell him in this window if they are failing with all attempts to get him to sign a contract extension.
