Chelsea are reportedly drawing close to signing Leicester City star Wesley Fofana as their next summer signing.
After weeks of intense transfer speculation, the Blues may finally see light at the end of the tunnel.
According to French outlet Media Foot, Chelsea are now actually close to wrapping up a deal to sign Leicester defender Fofana.
It is understood that the two Premier League clubs are now ironing out the final few details for the 21-year-old’s transfer, which could reach a total package of €100million (£84.5million) with various bonuses.

Chelsea close to signing Fofana
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers, who previously described Fofana as “amazing”, did admit this week that the Foxes have turned down two bids so far for Fofana.
Rumours suggest Chelsea may finally end up with their defensive target, though.
The young French centre-back has remained professional by playing Leicester’s opening game of the season. It’ll be interesting to see if he’s involved on Saturday afternoon against Arsenal, too.
He’s looked a class act since he arrived at the King Power Stadium, which is why many Foxes supporters have accepted they’ll eventually lose him.
However, Chelsea seem determined not to wait around any longer for the rising star.

If signed, Fofana will be yet another serious piece of business by Chelsea this summer.
The Blues have recruited well with a number of young players for the future, but the marquee additions to strengthen the side have been even more impressive.
Raheem Sterling, Marc Cucurella and Kalidou Koulibaly are three new faces that supporters are already delighted with.
