Chelsea are reportedly prepared to restart their pursuit of Southampton’s Romeo Lavia.
According to 90min, the Stamford Bridge hierarchy are ‘ready to reignite their interest’ in the midfielder.
Lavia has apparently been on the lips of the Cobham bosses for some time, although not always the player at the very centre of transfer talk.
Yet, Todd Boehly and his team are said to have already made a bid for the 19-year-old, an offer that was turned down by Southampton.

Chelsea to restart move for Romeo Lavia
90min claim that Chelsea are planning to present the Saints with another offer for their talented teenager this month.
The South West London side might have to shell out up to £50m for Lavia, a lucrative figure for an individual who’s only made 11 senior appearances.
He played twice for Manchester City’s first-team before being shipped off to the South Coast last summer.
His journey to Saint Mary’s proceeded being a pupil to some of the finest footballing minds on the planet.
Not only did the Belgium work under Pep Guardiola, he also got to rub shoulders with Kevin De Bruyne.

But their relationship went beyond just being co-workers and compatriots.
“Now he is more than a teammate to me and, when I can, I can go to to ask for advice and just speak about anything,” said Lavia his bond with De Bruyne.
Unfortunately for Chelsea, City’s creator and chief might actually warn Lavia about becoming a Blue.
De Bruyne endured a difficult spell in the English capital after moving there as a fresh-faced 20-year-old from Genk in 2012.
He played just nine times for Chelsea before heading off to Germany and eventually to Manchester.
A sparkling career awaits Lavia if he follows in the footsteps of his fellow Belgian.
