Conor Gallagher could reportedly be yet another Chelsea player in line for a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are already planning to open talks with their star men Mason Mount and Reece James about new deals once the transfer window shuts.
The report adds Gallagher, 22, may also receive a new deal.
He’s currently training with the first-team squad during pre-season after a successful one-year loan at Crystal Palace during the last campaign, so his stock is continuing to rise in West London.
Blues manager Thomas Tuchel recently said the Chelsea youngster can be a “big asset” at Stamford Bridge moving forward.

New Conor Gallagher contract
Despite the fact Gallagher is yet to make his competitive first-team debut for Chelsea, there’s understandably a lot of excitement around him right now.
The 22-year-old turned himself into an England international during recent months due to his eye-catching form on loan at Palace.
He’s a brilliant box-to-box central midfielder with great stamina and work rate, as well as offering attacking contributions.
Gallagher’s big challenge now is to break into the Chelsea line-up, with the midfield area of the pitch particularly competitive.

Midfield dynamic
It’s going to be intriguing to see what Chelsea’s midfield looks like in the new season.
It looks like Gallagher is now ready to compete for a starting position against heavyweight teammates such as Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount.
Frank Lebouef previously said he could imagine a Gallagher-Kante pivot for the Blues. For certain, that’s the kind of combination that could run opponents into the ground.
