Chelsea could reportedly be set to receive millions this summer because of their former player Marc Guehi.
Marc Guehi, who’s still only 22, is a young defender impressing for Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the last couple of years.
Chelsea sold the talented centre-back to Palace back in the summer transfer window of 2021, which is when Thomas Tuchel was the Blues manager.
The Chelsea academy graduate has seen his reputation soar since, making three senior England caps, and he’s now linked with a move away from Selhurst Park.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea agreed a 20 per cent sell-on clause in Guehi’s deal when he joined Palace.
It is explained that Palace are will demand at least £50million to sell the centre-half this summer amid interest. Therefore, it means Chelsea stand to make £10million from his sale.
The report claims that the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United are all monitoring Guehi.

The Evening Standard claimed earlier this month that Chelsea have another clause in Guehi’s deal that means they can match any offer Palace receive for the player. However, the report adds that the Blues are unlikely to be targeting centre-halves in the summer transfer window.
We feel that Guehi deserved a chance to make a serious first-team breakthrough at Stamford Bridge, but the decision to leave has been the right one for him.
Thankfully, Chelsea are lucky to have a number of talented options in the heart of defence, especially some rising young talents.
