Chelsea have rejected a bid from Brighton to sign Levi Colwill, according to reports.
Sky Sports claims that Brighton have submitted a £30million offer to sign Levi Colwill on a permanent basis.
It is understood that Chelsea have quickly responded by turning down the bid, though.
In fact, the report adds that the Blues have no plans to sell their 20-year-old talent during the summer transfer window.

Colwill has just enjoyed a very positive 2022/23 season at the Amex Stadium during a one-year loan at Brighton, so we’re not too surprised to hear them launch a big-money transfer to try get him back.
However, it sounds like Chelsea have big plans for the latest talented youngster, who was developed in the club’s academy at Cobham.
He’s now had some great first-team schooling in the past two years out on various loans, so let’s hope he’s ready to make the jump into the Blues squad at Stamford Bridge.
It’s worth flagging in Sky Sports’ report that Colwill is already widely considered by coaches and scouts to be emerging as the best young left-footed English centre-back.

The Evening Standard claimed last month that Mauricio Pochettino has already been impressed by Chelsea-owned Colwill during his time at Brighton.
Now that Pochettino has officially been confirmed as the Blues manager, we’re trying to fit the pieces together to predict what the starting line-up will look like next season at Stamford Bridge.
If Colwill is given a shot around the first-team group during pre-season, we think he’s got a chance of playing a role straight away under Pochettino.
