Chelsea have made contact over signing AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, according to reports.
Rafael Leao, 23, is having a fantastic season for Italian giants Milan, who are semi-finalists in this year’s Champions League tournament.
The Portuguese left-winger has scored 13 goals and made 12 assists across all competitions so far this campaign, so it’s no real surprise his name is now appearing in the transfer rumour mill.

The Daily Mail claims that Chelsea have ‘sounded out’ Leao’s situation at the San Siro in the past week.
It is explained that any transfer is complicated by the fact that there are compensation claims and sell-on clauses from his former clubs Sporting Lisbon and Lille.
Tuttosport claimed last month that Milan could want around £60million to sell Leao in the summer transfer window.
In our view, Chelsea should definitely be tempted if that valuation is realistic. We must stress that the Blues simply must get their striker and goalkeeper position in order before they look into recruiting any more wide players, though.

Leao is such an exciting winger with explosive pace and superb dribbling.
Theo Hernandez, who plays alongside Leao for Milan, recently described his teammate as an “incredible footballer”.
He’s hit double digits for goals and assists already this season, something no player in the Chelsea squad has got close to doing.
We believe he could light up the Premier League in the future with his skillset, with his 1v1 dribbling something quite unique because he breezes past opponents.
