Sensational reports have claimed that Chelsea have already held a ‘secret medical’ ahead of signing RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku next summer.
According to BILD, Chelsea officials were present at the medical as they got things prepared for a sensational transfer at the end of this season.
The Blues held an interest in the Frenchman over this summer, following his remarkable campaign which ended in more goal involvements than games played.

He was a star in Europe as well as domestically, with him turning heads in the Champions League before proving an equally strong force in the Europa League after they fell down from a group containing Manchester City and PSG.
Despite firm interest in making the signing this summer, Todd Boehly was seemingly held off as the 24-year-old signed a new contract to stay with the Bundesliga club.
Chelsea held Nkunku medical
However, this only brought more questions than answers, as the extremely achievable release clause for a player of his standard will only further a lot of teams’ interest in the player.
According to BILD though, the Blues may have skipped the queue for the signing as they sit in concrete negotiations after holding the ‘secret medical.’
Nkunku would no doubt be a fantastic signing for the Blues, who are crying out for a top quality striking option who they can rely on for a number of years.

His performances have left people going even as far as to describe him as ‘world-class’, with former Leipzig coach Achim Beierlorzer doing just that.
His versatility will also be a massive bonus to Chelsea, with him able to play out wide as well as down the middle to devastating effect.
He has already scored four goals in the Bundesliga this season, with him currently paired up with former Chelsea forward Timo Werner.
