Chelsea are in discussions to sign Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, according to reports.
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Blues are currently negotiating with Brighton a deal for Robert Sanchez.
The 25-year-old gloveman recently lost his starting position during the second half of the season at the Amex Stadium, but has proven he’s a quality operator at Premier League level.

Sanchez is now Premier League proven after previous spells in League Two and League One during the infancy of his first-team career.
The Spain international is an excellent shot-stopper and been a key player for the Seagulls in the last couple of years.
He’s a modern keeper who’s comfortable with distribution and playing out from the back. Unfortunately, Brighton teammate Jason Steele is rated higher in that area by manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Incidentally, Sanchez is a player that former Chelsea boss Graham Potter once called “fantastic”.

In our view, there’s not much to split between Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga and Sanchez, who are Spanish teammates.
Therefore, we’re not overly excited about the latest transfer speculation.
Instead, we would much rather the Blues go all out and try to sign a keeper with Andre Onana’s quality.
The Evening Standard recently claimed that Chelsea are now set to make Inter Milan an offer to sign £50million-rated goalkeeper Onana.
