Reports have claimed that Chelsea are leading the race to sign Napoli attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia next year.
According to GiveMeSport, the Blues as well as Liverpool are leading the pack of elite clubs looking to secure a deal for the breakout star.
The Reds got a first-hand viewing of just how talented this 21-year-old is in the Champions League earlier this season.

In a 4-0 rout of Jurgen Klopp’s men, Kvaratskhelia was the star of the show as Napoli eventually finished top of their respective Champions League group.
However, his talents have clearly been spotted by Chelsea too. He has 11 goal involvements in just 12 Serie A games, helping his side to the top of the table by some distance.
It has already been claimed that Chelsea have sent scouts to watch the youngster, as they prepare a move to sign him next year.

Italian pundit Antonio Cassano has already waxed lyrical about his talents, describing him as ‘phenomenal” whilst also saying how much better he is than Manchester City’s Jack Grealish.
GiveMeSport have claimed that although Chelsea and Liverpool are fighting for the deal, there is also interest from the likes of Manchester City and PSG, who are of course financial heavyweights in today’s game.

The signing would be a sensational coup for the Blues. Even though he has only impressed for half a season in one of the top five leagues, he has been showing his quality for the Georgian national team for some time.
His agent recently claimed that he was not going to be sold for cheap, with a fee of above £85m probably required to bring him in.
With no World Cup on his agenda this winter, his sole focus for the rest of the season will be Napoli. They will face Eintracht Frankfurt in the next round of the Champions League.
