Barcelona defender Sergino Dest has reportedly been offered to Chelsea, but he’s already keen on a switch to Old Trafford.

According to 90min, the Spanish giants have informed their youngster Dest he will be able to leave at the end of the season.

It is explained Barcelona officials are working on selling their 21-year-old defender, albeit a loan is not completely out of the question at this stage.

The report states Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham have all been approached with Barca offering each of the clubs the chance to sign the USA international.

In addition, 90min points out Dest would like a move to Man United due to the fact he’s previously worked alongside their new manager Erik ten Hag at Ajax.

The £24million right-back, who’s got the versatility to play on the left as well, is a quick defender that needs a fresh start to get his exciting young career back on track.

Dest offered to Chelsea

Chelsea were linked with Dest during the recent January window, so it’s no surprise to hear his name crop up again over a potential switch to Stamford Bridge.

He could link up with international teammate Christian Pulisic if he moves to west London.

However, the uncertainty around Blues transfers exists until a takeover is finally wrapped up and finalised.

It does make sense for Thomas Tuchel’s side to look at adding another full-back to their squad, with Dest’s ability to play both flanks very appealing.

Everyone at Chelsea can only wait to see where they’re at by the time the summer window opens, though.
