Chelsea are prepared to allow Jorginho to leave this summer as the midfielder is entering the final year of his contract at the club, according to 90min.
Jorginho and fellow Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante are among the players at the club whose contracts will expire in 2023.
The Blues have not been able to offer new contracts to their players while operating under a special licence, and while this will soon change ahead of the expected change of ownership on Monday, Jorginho and Kante’s futures remain in doubt.
According to 90min, Jorginho is the most likely to depart this summer between the two.

The Italy international has generated interest from Spanish clubs, but his agent has previously talked about the client’s desire to return to Serie A one day.
Three Italian clubs; Juventus, Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio, and AS Roma, are reportedly interested in the 30-year-old.
The report also mentioned that this could be part of Thomas Tuchel’s plan to rebuild his midfield.
There are a couple of exciting loanees expected to return to the club for the pre-season, including midfield options such as Conor Gallagher, Billy Gilmour, and Ethan Ampadu.

Gallagher, in particular, will reportedly hold talks with Tuchel over a potential first-team role next season.
Aside from these options, entering the transfer market for a new midfielder is always an option as well for Chelsea.
Although, at this point, their focus in the transfer market is likely on securing replacements for centre-back pair; Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
