Chelsea have told Manchester United they only need to increase their bid by £15million to sign Mason Mount this summer.
That is according to the Daily Mail.
Mason Mount, who’s got one year left on his Chelsea deal, is strongly linked with an exit in this transfer window.
The 24-year-old is preparing to make the move to Old Trafford this summer, but the clubs are still yet to agree a transfer sum for him.

The Daily Mail claims that United saw a £50million bid for Mount turned down by Chelsea yesterday. It was a 45million offer plus £5million in bonuses.
It is understood that Chelsea have given Erik ten Hag’s side a counter offer, though.
The report explains that Chelsea have told United they’ll allow Mount’s sale for £60million plus £5million in bonuses.
So, will we see United bid again and increase their offer by £15million?

Mount, who’s been described as “outstanding” by Paul Merson, is going to be a huge miss if he does exit Stamford Bridge this summer.
The attacking midfielder may have endured a difficult 2022/23 season, like so many of his teammates, but he’s a top-quality player.
The transfer speculation is hotting up with so many of Chelsea’s high-profile players heading for the exit, which was definitely needed to trim a massive squad.
However, we’ll be gutted if incoming Blues manager Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t get to work with Mount.
Despite having just one year left on his deal, we think it’s more than fair for Chelsea to stick with a £65million valuation of Mount amid United’s interest.
