AC Milan are reportedly set to hold a meeting with Chelsea for the potential transfer of Hakim Ziyech.
According to the Daily Mail, Ziyech wants to complete a move during this summer transfer window from the Blues to Italian league champions AC Milan. The £100,000-a-week attacker is going to need to take a pay cut on his salary, though.
It is understood Chelsea are prepared to grant his sale for as little as £8.4million, with manager Thomas Tuchel happy for him to go due to a lack of tactical discipline.
The report explains Milan have made the 29-year-old a key target and a meeting with the Blues is now scheduled to take place.
It’s been previously claimed Chelsea have already informed the player is surplus to requirements in the new season.

AC Milan meeting for Ziyech
It sounds like Ziyech to the San Siro is a transfer that’s feasible in this window, especially as he’s available for under £10million.
The left-footed winger hasn’t quite lived up to expectation in Chelsea colours, scoring 14 goals and making 10 assists in 83 appearances for the London club.
However, Milan appear to be chasing themselves a potential bargain.
If the Moroccan trickster isn’t to Tuchel’s fancy, it does make sense to offload him. He’s had a good 18 months coaching him to judge, too.
Milan have signed Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud from Chelsea in recent years, so can they strike up another deal to continue the business relationship?

Sterling an upgrade
Raheem Sterling, who completed a signing earlier in the window from Manchester City to Chelsea, should provide something a lot of the current Blues attackers have struggled with. Yes, that’s a load of goals.
It’s vital there are more goals from the forwards at Stamford Bridge, especially as there’s still not a prolific hitman in the striker position.
Unfortunately, Ziyech’s not been delivering enough goal contributions despite his magic feet and vision.
