Reports from Italy have claimed that Chelsea are prepared to offer a huge salary in order to convince Rafael Leao to join them.
According to Milan News, the Blues are prepared to match the salary offer with a huge transfer fee in an attempt to prize him from AC Milan.
Reports in the last few days have suggested that the Portuguese star is now not convinced on signing a new deal with the Serie A champions.

His current deal expires in 2024, and if he is not going to resign then Milan may consider cashing in to avoid losing the star for free.
Leao has recently used the World Cup to show his talents on the big stage. Despite being frequently used off the bench, he proved his worth with two goals, including a stunner against Switzerland.
Chelsea to go big for Leao
His skills have not gone under the radar with teammates either. Zlatan Ibrahimovic described him as ‘scary’ in a recent interview.
It has been claimed that the Premier League side were interested in bringing the winger in last summer, as they looked to bolster their frontline in the final days of the transfer window.
The move didn’t come to fruition, although Milan News have claimed they are putting aside big money to bring the 23-year-old to Stamford Bridge.

With Christopher Nkunku reportedly set to join the club at the end of the season, there is a real chance that the attack on display at Chelsea looks very different going forwards.
With Leao, the Blues would be getting a very direct attacker, who has already gone toe-to-toe with one of the best right-back’s in world football in Reece James.
With Raheem Sterling hardly living up to the expectations so far, it is not unimaginable that the club will strengthen on the left of their attack.
