AC Milan think they can sign Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek for a bargain price as they continue to drive his valuation down, according to reports.
We’ve heard a fair amount of speculation recently regarding the future of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, whose contract at Stamford Bridge expires next summer.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano shared on Twitter last week that AC Milan are in talks about signing Loftus-Cheek and consider him their main midfield target in the upcoming transfer window.
Now, fresh claims explain that the Italian giants are looking to secure a great deal for the 27-year-old.

Calcio Mercato says that Loftus-Cheek was initially valued by Chelsea at €25million (£21.5million).
It is understood that Milan have already managed to convince the Blues to lower the asking price to €20million (£17million). The Serie A club are quite confident they can get Loftus-Cheek for even cheaper still, though.
The report adds that it’s unlikely there will be any problems on the player’s side of the deal, with contact between the parties already taking place.
So will Loftus-Cheek be the latest Chelsea academy graduate to move to the San Siro? If he does, he’ll join former Blues defender Fikayo Tomori.

Loftus-Cheek has certainly not been one of Chelsea’s worst performers this season quietly had a steady year.
The “fantastic” midfielder doesn’t set the world alight and hasn’t lived up to expectation with the Blues, but he’s been a useful squad option with 33 appearances this campaign.
We suspect that Milan could be a great next fit for him to play his football. However, let’s hope the Italians don’t walk all over Chelsea when it comes to transfer negotiations.
