Atletico Madrid are reportedly willing to send Joao Felix to the Premier League on loan in January, with Chelsea a potential destination for the forward.
According to the Daily Star, the Spanish side will free the attacker to the English market, as long as the cost of his contract is covered by the new club.
Atletico appear intent on getting rid of Felix, at least for the season but potentially indefinitely.
The 23-year-old has struggled to repay the £113m that was spent on him back in 2019.
He doesn’t feel a right fit for Diego Simeone’s style of play, with the pair clearly not on the same page.
Felix has started just five La Liga games this season and will surely be eager to increase those numbers away from the Metropolitano Stadium.

Chelsea could well be the Portugal international’s next home, with links between the player and South West Londoner’s hotting up ahead of transfer window.
Todd Boehly has apparently already been offered Felix’s services by Atletico, having sent scouts to watch him on numerous occasions.
His potential arrival might come at just the right time for Graham Potter.
Potter will be without Armando Broja for possibly the rest of the campaign, following surgery on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the only recognised senior striker, Chelsea could do with extra firepower in that department.
Although Felix has not exactly been a force to be reckoned with, he certainly knows where the back of the net is.
