Inter Milan could be prepared to accept either Trevoh Chalobah or Ruben Loftus-Cheek in a swap deal for their goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to reports.

Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana, 27, has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this month.

90min reported earlier this week that Chelsea have informed Inter they want to sign Onana from them this summer.

The Blues have had their problems in goal with current stars Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga, so we wouldn’t mind the club signing a new number one ahead of next season.

According to Gazzetta, Inter value Onana at around €40million (£35million) and they wouldn’t accept Kepa from Chelsea in any kind of swap deal.

It is understood that there’s two Blues players that the Italian giants do like, though.

The report suggests that Trevoh Chalobah or Ruben Loftus-Cheek are two players the Serie A club do admire.

Apparently, Inter could be open to the idea of including 23-year-old centre-back Chalobah as part of a swap deal for Onana. They’ve been interested in 27-year-old midfielder Loftus-Cheek in the past, too.

We struggle to see long-term futures for Chalobah or Loftus-Cheek at Stamford Bridge, especially the latter.

If the Blues need to offer a currently player as part of a deal, the aforementioned duo can definitely be sacrificed from the current squad.

The goalkeeper position is a role on the pitch you can’t really afford uncertainty in, so signing a new top-class keeper would be a great move for next season’s new permanent manager.
